Michael Savarese has over fifteen years of varied experience in the fields of interior architecture, corporate facilities management and building design. He came to Robert M. Miller + Associates in 1989 in the capacity of Director of Design & Production after serving as a Project Architect with the firm of Stanley Selig Brittman for two and one-half years and previous to that as a Project Manager for Chase Manhattan Bank. In 1994, he became Executive Vice President of Miller Savarese Associates.
He brings to Miller Savarese Associates the added dimension of the experience of overseeing more than one million square feet of corporate real estate in the combined capacity of Facilities Project Manager and consulting Project Architect. His expertise ranges from ATM installations to major corporate interiors as well as new construction of both private and institutional facilities. Mr. Savarese has worked with such prestigious corporate clients as American Express Publishing Corporation, Springer-Verlag, Bankers Trust, Firmenich Inc., Chase Manhattan Bank, Dime Savings Bank and Marine Midland Bank.
Mr. Savarese received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from The City University of New York and is licensed to practice architecture both in New York and New Jersey.
His work has appeared in a number of publications including Buildings Magazine and Interiors magazine. His work associated with the Brook 35 Shopping Center was cited for an award of excellence by the New Jersey Shore Builders Association.
